About FBI
Frank/Best International was founded in 1997 by Bobby Frank and Tim Best, two experienced advertising vets who also happen to be drummers.
In fact, a lot of the FBI crew is into music. Several moonlight in one kind of band or another. But don’t get us wrong, advertising is our absolute passion and calling.
Still, the musical connection serves us well because, when you think about it, making great advertising is a lot like making great music. Both spring from the intangible but can have very solid results. Both can excite. Both can motivate. Both can make impressions that last for years.
At FBI, we draw a lot of analogies between music and marketing. So it’s not surprising that rock paraphernalia adorns our walls and our affinity with music has become our brand.
See, we think it’s important that agencies “have” a brand. We think it’s important people get a quick mental image of us. Why? Because that’s branding. That’s what ad agencies are supposed to do: create impressions of your company and its products in the customer’s mind. Doesn’t it make sense to hire an agency that lives by and practices the principles of branding?
